Write a Comment»This is one of the little things I like on G4TV that’s alive right now, their segments that bring issues in the gaming industry to light and set the matter straight or get important game writers to talk about it. Adam Sessler rocks.
I disagree with Totilo;WHY should an installation time be factored in when reviewing a game???Shouldn’t the review only cover gameplay, graphics, controls and such, and not the time it takes ’til you start PLAYING the game????????
I find this to be really weird, and in my opinion, they’re making a big deal out of nothing. If the mandatory installs occur in-game,that is;they occur after you’ve started playing the game in intervals of sorts, then I can understand if a reviewer factors this in,seeing as how it alters the gameplay experience. But if it all occurs before the actual game even starts, then it’s just a pointless fact.
^ but don’t you want to play the game, I don’t know, when you put the disk in?
People bitched about the install size and time on GTA IV, that’s why they don’t want it discussed. Personally, I plan on upgrading the HDD soon, so it matters little to me.
