I suck at these. I never really see a difference in the comparison videos, but I think I have to give the edge to the PS3 version. The graphics look a little sharper and the shading is also a tad better. The 360 is noticeably darker but it will really depend on the quality of TV you have and its contrast ratio.

Write a Comment»Graphically they’re about equal, but I hear the 360 version is more tailored towards console play, which was intentional. The two versions will developed independently by two different companies. The PS3 version was designed to work just like the PC version of the game and the 360 was tailored more to work on the console. No idea why.
interesting ^
the only difference that is noticeable throughout is the contrast, other than that I’d say they’re both looking good
And the whole first person view thing (again that is more a PC thing like Matt said). They look pretty similar to me though. A few differences and I think I saw a hint of lag in the PS3 version in 1 spot but that could just be me.
So the reason the 360 isn’t going to have optional views such as cockpit, fps tank, etc because different companies are publishing each console version? The fps views looked pretty cool to use imo, but that doesn’t hurt the 360. As for the lighting the PS3 seemed more brighter, but can be toned down by your TV to look like the 360 version.
