I remember playing the shit out of Golden Axe way way back in the day on the Sega Genesis. The franchise many of us grew up with is making a comeback and it looks pretty bloody.
The gameplay looks like something you’d find in Ninja Gaiden, Conan, Heavenly Sword, God of War… something of that genre. We’ll see how it plays out as more footage gets released over the next few months.
Comparing it to those games gave me a second though, I wasn’t really looking forward to this game when I looked up on it, but now I’ll give some hope.
lol I remember there was that ‘mini-game’ where a Thief would run from the left to the right side of the screen,and you’d have to whack him for his goodies!
