The Wii Fit has a strict weight limit of 330 lbs or 150 kg. Now, there is a rumor that gamers tend to be on the heavier side. What is a gamer to do when their weight exceeds the limit? Nintendo: Too fucking bad. Here is what Nintendo will tell you if you bought a Wii Fit and are unable to use it:
The maximum weight for both game and accessory is 330 lbs (150 kg), which is stated on the Wii Fit packaging,” Nintendo of America’s Jill Callahan said. “If this is a product that can not currently be used in your home, you may wish to investigate a possible return of the product to the retailer where you purchased it.
Or perhaps you would like to give it as a gift to someone you know who would enjoy it. I hope you find these suggestions helpful.
Very helpful indeed. Thanks for the advice on my current conundrum. I have something that I can’t use. I can return it or give it to someone else? Thanks, Nintendo! I say if you are over 330 lbs, use the Wii Fit. If it breaks, just have someone else return it. Though I doubt the stoned register jockey at Best Buy will even make that connection. Never give up, never surrender!

Nintendo just gave out advices one could have never thought of, “return of the product to the retailer where you purchased it.
Or perhaps you would like to give it as a gift to someone”… Lol!
I don’t understand why this is an atrocity. If you can’t read the box to understand the requirements, you should be held to your own ignorance or stupidity. /rant
It is printed in a big green circle on the top of the box. Not hard to miss.
Maybe store associates can suggest not buying it to people who look too fat?
geez, you’d be even too fat to walk in the store to buy it.
