It looks as if you are going to have even more time to enjoy GTA IV. Saints Row 2 has been pushed back from Aug 26 to Oct 14. The reason cited is marketing issues and product quality. I’ll tell you the reason: GTA IV is maybe the best game off all time and Saints Row 2 pales in comparison. I played Saints Row and did not like it all that much. It had its good points, but was and is a GTA clone. If THQ wants to sell this game, they have to make very sure that it does not suck uber balls. If this game is not close to at least a 8.5-9, the franchise is dead.

Actually, I liked Saints Row a lot more than GTA for some reason. When I first started playing GTA, it was amazing. However, towards the end of the game it just felt like the same old same old.
In Saints Row, the multiplayer TOPPED GTA easily. The teams were always balanced well, and in team car (w/e its called), you would have to kill enemies and get their money. Then once you had enough you had to take your car out of your garage and drive it to a garage in the middle of the map to upgrade it. You would do this 4 times and then have to hold a area in the middle with your car for a minute or two.
Saints Row Online > GTA Online (by a lot)
I don’t think Saints Row was bad at all it was surprisingly good and defeated the purpose of being a GTA clone unlike other games that attempted and failed, thus labeling them ‘GTA clones’. IMO I this isn’t a GTA clone at all and should be stopped calling that because it’s actually just a game in the genre that GTA created (open sand box style). When the first Killzone came out you might as call it a ‘Halo clone’ instead of a Halo killer.
I hear that the first saints row was better than gta4. hmmm
i dont see why saints row is called a gta clone, yea its like it in some ways, you get to do so much more in saints then in gta4 and theres some much to do in the game. i say they both are great games and fun as hell to play. i own gta4 and saint6s and they nothing alike at all for the most part so please stop calling every sand-box style game a gta clone this is mainly meant for saints its not a clone so stop calling it that please. also not everyone likes the same games so everyone will think differently of the same game
gta had nothing on the first saints row, gta 4 was probably the worst game i’ve played, besides over-G taking first place in the shit catagory
saints row is way better than gta4 cause you have faster cars better weapons and alot of area to take over aswell as a game that feels like a never ending thrill shoot out.
Even though saints row 1 hadnt got everything that gta had when it came out the producers made up for thier mistakes.
P.S:Grand Theft Auto sucks!!!!!!!Saints Rows Balls and whoever said that people can have a different opinion on games should go see a man and then a counceler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
