I can’t say that this is any surprise, but the word on the street is now finally official. SF 4 will be on next gen consoles and the PC. The game is now making huge waves in the arcades over in Japan and we are only left to gawk at screenshots here in the States and Europe. No word has been said on the date, but most sources agree that it will be in Q4 2008. Could this be a Hadouken Christmas? We sure as hell hope so. Sonic Fucking Boom!

On topic;I’m kinda surprised Capcom aren’t making a Wii version,the graphics in SF4 seem more than possible on the Wii,admittedly with a little trim here and downgrade there

A Wii version, I am thinking the control scheme would get in the way of the game. A dragon punch may get too dangerous to do, I can envision holes in the ceiling now, but how great would it be to have two gloves on and simulate punching each other in SF.
Will Street Fighter and Sonic be a classic game? Since today’s gamers aren’t very fond of 2D games. Hopefully they both prevail.
