This is been reverberating around the Internet, how the Wii fit board is inaccurate and telling people they are fat, but this guy sums it up pretty nicely. There are reports of kids getting self esteem issues and people getting upset at the fact that the BMI in the game is not accurate and does not account for different body types. Nintendo better brace themselves because I can smell a lawsuit as soon as someone plays with the Wii Fit gets depressed and kills themselves.
Line of the video: “don’t jump to hard porky you might have a heart attack”

Yea it kind of is dumb. It seems that Nintendo is promoting anorexia or something of the like. I mean seriously kids who play this who are fit don’t want to be told to lost weight. Girls are most vulnerable to eating disorders before / at the start of high school. Having a wii fit tell them they are fat is… bad…
I read a story similar to this it’s pretty inaccurate to be calling people overweight Nintendo! That guy looks like he’s about to raid Nintendo headquarters and go on a rampage lol. I can understand girls going batshit over being called fat, but this guy should calm down unless he’s kidding. Regardless this guy has a freaking nice house!
Yeah..not good. Eating disorders are a major issue.
I recall a modeling agent telling me to lose 10 poonds when I was 95 lbs and ao I didnt eat for about a week…imagine having some stupid porky cartoon telling me over and over I was overweight…not a good idea for young adoleascents who deal with body and image issues every day!!!
yeah the game is very insulting. It actually asked me if I have a hard time walking and that it’s surprised I don’t fall down often. Yeah, that’s a good one
I sense a review for Wii Fit coming soon from LN :S!
Review should be coming Friday, depending on how much time I get to spend with the game today…
When you get on it to check your weight, I want it to say, “One at a time, please.”
It’s just a fucking game. Someone call the whambulance.
