It’s not Orlando Bloom. Previous reports were wrong. Just who will play the nimble blade-wielding Prince? Everyone’s favorite psycho kid, Donnie Darko. That’s right, Jake Gyllenhaal will be playing Dastan.
He’ll be joined by Gemma Arterton as Tamina, the exotic princess, as they join forces to stop mean people from getting their hands on the Sands of Time. Yeah, we all know how that turns out, we played the games.
Hopefully this will end up as a decent video game based movie. We all know the debacles that have come in the past, so only time will tell. With Jerry Bruckheimer at the helm, it may end up being pretty good.

Write a Comment»Jake strikes me as more of a psycho, less of a prince. He plays the psycho so well, and I think he should’ve been picked to play Joker. He always has that twisted yet innocent look on his face.
