Of the new game tweaks coming to Madden 2009, Madden Rewind is by far the most arcade like. The premise is simple. If you decide to play with the rewind feature on, you can undo unfavorable outcomes. Doesn’t make any sense right? Read this:

Here are some important details regarding EA SPORTS REWIND in Madden NFL 09: Before the game begins, each player may select 0, 1, 3, 5, or unlimited REWINDS to be used during the course of the game. Rewinds may be be used on any play: Offense, Defense, & Special Teams. They’re not available during online games. Madden NFL 09 hits the streets August 12th, including the historic 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition. And remember, with great power comes great responsibility.

Is this the stupidest thing you have ever seen?? Thank god it is turned off for online play. If anyone comes to my house and tries to use a rewind they will receive a quick kick to the nuts or by off-chance a girl is playing, a swift kick to the mysterious lady parts.
