Ok as someone who has spent a lot of time playing Phantasy Star Online and Universe, I have to say this is pretty sweet to get this RPG on my PSP. The ad-hoc mulitplayer coop has been confirmed but online coop has not been confirmed yet. Looks to be a direct port from what PS2, PC and Xbox 360 users are used to, complete with the expansion Ambitions of Illuminus. Great to have on my PSP with some good looking graphics and carry around, hopefully they make it free to play online and then I will buy this in a heartbeat. So far no official US release date for this title, but definitely coming to Japan.

Write a Comment»I’m not going to lie, I played this and it was a really good RPG. Each episode had a vivid animated introduction. I never got to play online because I didn’t want to pay, damn you Sega.
Online was fun, it just got repetitve after a while. I played PSO and htat was a great game, then came episode 2 and then PSU. Dont know why Sega charges becasue they dont upgrade much.
Im tired of spending my money on Segas PSO/PSU online monthly fees.
They should give it to us for free for the PSP.
The coop option on PSPs will be nice…
Yeah but only ad-hoc no wifi confirmed yet, kinda weak as you need to be in close proximity to play with each other.
