GTA IV is still spinning in my console disc trays and already Rockstar is out looking for a location for GTA V. Could it be they want to get the ball rolling before EA comes in and just rehashes GTA IV? Here’s the list of choices going down at Rockstar:
- Beijing, China
- Paris, France
- Havana, Cuba
- Cancun, Mexico
- Venice, Italy
Not sure how I feel about Venice, although you could try and sink the city. I think the best choices would either be Havana, Cuba or Cancun, Mexico. Some decent debauchery already happens there, which could make a pretty good settings. Only time will tell, though.

I just don’t want them to do the whole “10000 miles of open terrain” like in GTA:SA because that sucked so much and really ruined the game in my opinion.
By the way I beat the story of GTA IV. I’m at about 70% and 25hrs of play time.
damn, im at like 33% or something..
Okay, Ive been to Paris & Cancun, not yet to Cuba nor China. Venice is next year’s anniversary gift, this year it was HI
Paris-Yes
Cuba-Yes
China-Maybe
Venice-No
Cancun-No
Im not a huge fan of Cancun!
I’m at 36% and 46hrs. Do you feel like your rushing a bit Fragloser?
I’m at 36% and 46hrs. Do you feel like your rushing a bit Fragloser? Oh and I want another massive city like GTA IV. So, off the top of my head Hong Kong, Rome, Moscow. To be honest any of these in this list would only work as DLC (IMHO).
