Damn, what the hell is going on in the game world these days? It’s crazy I tells ya.

So it seems that id may not be attending this years E3. Earlier speculation told that id would be there no question. Now - who knows.  Todd Hollenshead, CEO says that the decision has not been made yet. “Actually, we haven’t determined in what capacity we’ll be attending E3 (if any), so everyone is wrong.”

Apparently after developers Blizzard & Activision announced last week that they would not be  attending the yearly event, everyone has been far more interested in who will actually make a showing. The two developers are not only blowing off E3, they have gone so far as to withdrawing their memberships from the ESA altogether. Wow.

The thing is, nobody is really saying why these things are taking place - all we’ve gotten is ‘business reasons’ - thats it. What the hell does that mean?

So whats the word? Anybody have any ideas as to reasons? If you do let us know.
