Ruh Roh. It looks like things are taking a big turn in the industry. Activision and Vivendi have announced that they’re leaving the Entertainment Software Association. The ESA is responsible for E3, D.I.C.E. Summit, and a bunch of other industry related happenings.
Along with leaving the ESA, Activision and Vivendi aren’t making an appearance at E3. They’re going all Lone Wolves on us.
None of the parties involved were available for comment at press time, but expect some news from Activision on just what’s going down in the very near future.

They’ll probably release gameplay trailers and shit like that to the usual outlets during E3, just not at the actual event.
