There has been widespread complaints about a GTA IV freeze that is driving gamers batshit crazy. This has affected Matt who is on the PS3, yet my Xbox 360 version has had no problems. Apparently both versions have been reported as broken and Rockstar claims to be working their collective asses off to get things straight. Kotaku editor Brian Crecente recently phoned Rockstar and they insist that a patch could be ready “any minute or day now”. They have fixed the PS3 multiplayer freeze but the other issues remain. This is not the first time a Rockstar game has been glitched; Bully had similar issues. Hopefully this will all get straightened out soon. (Shakes fist).

I still demand to know what happens for the people who don’t connect online. A fix means nothing to them if they can not connect online. They need to halt production of the effected code ASAP. Once the fix is solved, these people need to be given an exchanged copy of a repressed disc with the fixed code. Anything less is a complete and utter failure on all parties involved.
I only say this cause when your game is selling record breaking millions, the percentage of affected users goes way up. That also means those without access to an online fix will be higher as well. They spent a reported $100 million, and are projected to make $400 million profit. I say you better think about all your customer’s who got you there.
I just got traded it my old messed up disc for a new one and everything is fine. It is a great game, its just too bad that it had a start like this.
