In case you have not heard problems with GTA IV are being confirmed, there are some freezing issues on the PS3 and no one has figured out how to fix it yet or where exactly it is coming from, there was some speculation that is was happening on launch PS3’s only, but that has been dis-proven. Watch as this guy drives around and the game randomly freezes for a few seconds, pretty annoying. I have also gotten confirmation that similar things are happening on the Xbox 360 as well.

Xbox360 is going to have Fall Online DLC.
I dont hear when PS3 will have theirs.
Out of the millions of people who bought the game, I wonder what percentage of people who don’t have their console connected online and maybe never will is. (likely alot) If they release a fix, what about those people?

My 60-gig PS3 is working perfectly with GTA. I did a few missions and then went on a rather lengthy stabbing rampage, which culminated in me stabbing a cop in front of the bowling alley.
DLC for PS3’s GTA IV has not been announced yet.
As far as stability, they are about the same, as Rockstar dropped the ball on quality control.
In terms of looks, the games look great on either system.
Gameplay, I tend to lean more to the PS3’s Dual Shock 3, since that’s what the more recent GTA games have been designed around, and it feels more natural.
Online has to go to XBL, especially since most people report not being able to get online with the PS3 version (servers down or something like that).
I would say, if you have to pick one, pick the one your friends are most likely to also have.
