Harmonix is finally bringing the full album downloads to Rock Band starting next week. The first album will be Judas Priest’s “Screaming For Vengeance” from 1982. Many of you probably have no idea about the tracks on this album. Here’s what you’ll get:
- “The Hellion/Electric Eye”
- “Riding on the Wind”
- “Bloodstone”
- “(Take These) Chains”
- “Pain and Pleasure”
- “Screaming for Vengeance”
- “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’”
- “Fever”
- “Devil’s Child”
You can get each track for $1.99 (160 MS Points) or the whole album for $14.99 (1200 MS Points). I’ll be passing on this one. More albums are on the way, such as “The Cars” from The Cars and “Doolittle” from the Pixies. Still no word on The Who’s “Who’s Next”, which was originally announced as a full album back in the day from Harmonix.

Write a Comment»Rock band was really blown it with their DLC… I guess they’re waiting to release the “Great” music for a sequel however, it just makes me lose respect for them. Week after week they release LAME music to be downloaded… granted, there’s a fan base for Judas Priest but i guarantee you it’s not the majority of Rock Band Players. Harmonix can simply eat my a$$. I’m not buying anything more from them.
I’m not entirely sure I want this album, but full album downloads are definitely to my liking.
Im with ryan to an extent. The metallica pack is the shit and fun as hell on quitar and drums its also the most downloaded track pack. You would think they would get the idea. I WANT to buy DLC but they really need to up the ante.
Rockband is atleast trying Activision is doing shit all ( although IMO there original songs are better than rockbands) except for getting ready for the next game … Aerosmith and friends…. how lame lol.
