Have you wanted to play some Def Leppard in Guitar Hero? Personally, I want Pour Some Sugar on Me in Rock Band. But I guess I’ll have to settle with three tracks in Guitar Hero.

Available on the 24th April 2008 as part of a three-track Def Leppard song pack, new single Nine Lives will be playable exclusively on Xbox 360 consoles a week ahead of its debut in stores and through online music distribution services. It will then be made available through Playstation 3 on the 8th May 2008. The pack will include “Nine Lives” and classic Leppard tracks “Rock Of Ages” and “Photograph”.

Rock of Ages and Photograph are cool, but where’s the really good stuff? Any why the two week exclusive on the Xbox 360? All that does is piss off gamers. DLC, especially things like this, should get a simultaneous release on all platforms. It’s not like there’s any coding differences for songs in Guitar Hero or Rock Band between consoles.
