Selling 1 million copies is a big mark in video games, and Burnout Paradise has met that level. That’s pretty much a guaranteed sequel.
Whether you like the new changes in the game or not, selling 1 million copies is a great accomplishment for Criterion’s smash-em-up driver. This also brings the Burnout series to over 15 million copies sold over the lifetime of the product. That’s damn impressive right there.
Criterion is supporting Paradise well with a lot of upcoming DLC, a good portion of it being free. Personally, I’d still like to see a normal Crash Mode added back to the game. That’s the only fault I can find with it.
