Sony released a few more screenshots of the new redesigned PlayStation Store. Remember, there’s no updates this week or next due to the design changes. The store is becoming a native application on the PS3, so no more web browser stuff.
The coolest feature in these screeshots is the Preview button under Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. As confirmed by Grace Chen, Senior Manager of the PlayStation Store, this will show screenshots and/or videos of games to give you a better idea if you want to purchase them. I think this is definitely a cool idea, especially when demos aren’t available. No word if this Preview will be available for all download games. I think the more the better, and more videos would help gamers make better decisions.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this updated store. Looks like it’ll be much better experience than what we have now.

That space is designed that way so the store works perfectly on both standard and widescreen tv’s
Make them cheapos buy HDTVs *looks at brother*
extra space on the sides or not its deifintely an upgrade from what they used to have.
Very true, but at the same time, I liked seeing the most popular downloads on the right side.
it looks nice and clean..and plus i think smaller text is better then bigger text..
^^not when you have a smaller TV. I was watching a Blu ray on my bro’s TV yesterday and the text was illegible.
TV or Moniter? and i have like a 17″ moniter so its all good..
My bro has a 27″ TV, small text looks like crap on it.
