I was at Best Buy this Saturday afternoon picking up a couple of Blu-Ray movies when I happened upon this sight. Now, I’m in Best Buy at least once a week for various reasons. Whenever I’m there, I always stop by the video game section. I can attest to this Xbox 360 working on Thursday.
This isn’t the fist time I’ve seen this Best Buy hit by the Red Ring of Death either. The funniest part was some kid, half crying, asking his mom why this Xbox 360 wouldn’t work. Sadly, I didn’t want to take his picture for fear of being labeled a pedophile. But trust me, it was funny.

You would think the best buy people may take that one out as quicka s possible and try to get a functioning one inthere, people at best buy stink!
It’s MS’s responsibility to maintain those consoles. They provide the kiosks, and this is their design
Yeah that is true the MS people are supposed to come in and check on it, funny stuff. Those MS engineers are brilliant, we have overheating issues, lets encase it in plastic, yeah!!!! Good idea all around, ok next topic how can we make Xbox Live worse?
Dude, a few weeks ago, my friend got the RRoD, and me and him are best buds, so it sucked not playing with him. He tried to remove the RRoD by cooling in down to near-freezing, but he still got the RRoD. Then he tried the opposite extreme, overheating it. He left his 360 on for 3 days straight with the RRoD, Then restarted it, and it worked. After that, he left it on for fear of it not starting again, then his 360 freezes, he restarts it, with no problems. It hasn’t happended again, and it was hilarious.
Very intriguing. I dont know if there is rhyme or reason to RRoD other than it has a mind of its own and will strike at any time.
lol yeah
Haha if thats the best buy in Saratoga, its had the RRoD for at least 3 weeks. When I saw it I couldn’t help but laugh out loud in the store. Despite that, I love my 360 and couldnt live without it, thank god for the best buy replacement plan!
It is the one in Saratoga. I was playing it last Thursday… only thing I can think of then is it was fixed and broke again?
