Looks like Rainbow Six Vegas is going to be in need of a patch and soon since people are cheating their way to Elite status at an epic rate. Boosting is always unfortunatley a part of online gaming, but players have figured it out very quickly in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and are playing like 1 minute matches to gain 400 experience points. I can only hope that Ubisoft figures out a quick patch for this since we will have a lot of non legit Elites running around. The only saving grace is that rank does not really mean much except that you get to unlock some gear for your character faster and get some achievements. Still stinks though if you are a legit Elite and then see all these other guys boost their way up to you.

Write a Comment»I think its a bunch of B.S. Honestly I believe there is no real reason to boost in any game, set aside from looking like a pro. The same things happen on Call of Duty 4 as well as Halo 3. It has been happening ever since I could remember. Halo 2 was a really big drag because not only did people boost, but they Standby and Mod. I think though whenever there are online games there are cheaters, so there is no sense in getting frustrated at them. Just know that they will never be as good as you legitimately. I have beat many ‘Boosters’ 1v1 in a range of games including Halo 2, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Chrome hounds ( Yes, even chrome hounds). Hell I even remember people cheating in Counter Strike for the original Xbox. Even Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. I just think that cheating will never end. The only way to deal with cheaters are not Suspensions, but Permanent Bans.
Yeah boosting is just annoying, especially when you find yourself in a game when you’re the only person not boosting. Unfortunately, there is little you can do about it, short of reporting the users as cheater.
Yeah boosting is a bit silly, I dont see the fun in sitting in a room doing hte same repeetitive thing for a few hours just to raise your rank. I tired talkin to one guy who was doing it, to understand why and I couldnt get a good answer other than if the game dev’s let us do it, then F them.
Boosting to me isnt as horrible as the stanby issues in Halo, that was just annoying becasue you would be playing and then bam, frozen and you would lose. At least boosters leave people alone of rhte most part, just sucks for guys that earned their high ranks legit.
If it CAN happen, it WILL happen.
Therefore, blame the devs for ALLOWING it to happen. Enough said.
So is ubi goin to catch these cheaters and reset them? or are they gonna leave everything as is and leave them be and patch it.

I think the article sucks personally. Who cares if you are a “Legit Elite”. If you are one by now, people will still make fun of you for being elite within a week of the released, let alone they won’t believe you now, so who cares? It sucks for you but it’s not bothersome considering all you get is some new camo colors and new armor that doesn’t absolutely nothing to benefit you.
It’s not like CoD4 where you get the ungodly-noobish p90 at rank 45, all the guns and armor in this game are very evenly spread.
I’m glad people boost because it makes people like you lot get annoyed.

I come across boosting matches all to often trying to play a game of team leader. and fuck that shit, its absolute bullshit, cant MS deam these assholes as cheaters and reset their ranks? Its just rude that Ubisoft put the time in to make a great game and people are just cheating to get through it, why cant people just play the god damn game the way its supposed to be played.

i boosted the hell out of that shit. and i’m proud to admit it. i cheated… whoo hoo!!! i got everything unlocked in about a week’s time. but i can tell you one thing, i’m not gonna go around and scream that i’m a legit elite because i’m not. if someone asks me how i became an elite, i’m not gonna lie to that person and say that i did it like a pro. i just wanted that sweet camo. and all of you that dislike this, well… i’m sorry that you wanna play a game for almost a year to become an elite, because i got no where near an elite on the first rainbow and i played it FOREVER!!! oh well, this story and all of you “legit” players can lick my balls, i’m an elite, face it.

you know, this whole thing about cheating is just retarded. i bought the damn game, ubi soft left a few glitches in the game, and since i’ve purchased it i should be able to do with it what i please. if i wanna wipe my ass with it, i should be allowed to do that. if i wanna cheat and rank up faster than god could, then i will. i got the full experience of the game when i first bought it. i played through the campaign just like anyone else in about six hours and then after that…. what’s the point? so i decided to rank up and unlock everything instead of waiting four or five months before unlocking everything. you can lick my spass(tastic)-flap jackin asshole man. immature kids. so stupid. i hope your moms find out that this game is rated ‘M’ for mature and sells it on ebay. you fuckin thumb suckin fags.

Monopoly has been around for a very long time. In fact, its one of the most celebrated board games ever created. Adults play the game as do children. No one called you a child, but when you so eloquently tell someone to lick your asshole, well that justifies your maturity my friend. This is a social site where people do the back and forth all the time. It must feel good to insult someone through the internet. Probably as good as cheating does.
