Wii Fastest to Hit 10 Million in North America

According to the good folks over at VG Chartz, the Wii is the fastest console to hit 10 million units sold in North America. It took just over 70 weeks for Nintendo’s console to achieve this feat.

It took the PS2 84 weeks to reach this milestone. It looks like Nintendo will be able to eventually beat the PS2 in overall sales, as long as demand keeps up.

Kudos, Nintendo. I’m sure we’ll be seeing an official press release soon.
