If the cards fall in the right spots, we just might get to see an entire Guitar Hero game of Beatles songs. According to the LA Times:
Martin N. “Marty” Bandier, the top executive at the music publishing company that owns the John Lennon- Paul McCartney copyrights, said he liked the idea of a dedicated Beatles edition of Guitar Hero, Activision Inc.’s hugely popular video-game franchise.
No word whether Activision wants to make this game, but why the hell wouldn’t they? It’s basically a gold mine. Personally, I’d rather see it on Rock Band with drum and vocal tracks.

He owns the copyright to a lot of them. He bought a ton of them from Sir Paul.

Actually he didnt buy them from paul he got the idea to buy the catalogue from paul though while they did that stupid song(say say say?) and it caused a huge rift between the two and they havent talked since because sir paul felt betrayed.
