Another band of game pirates were apprehended yesterday when a daring raid of multiple Mexican Agencies unearthed a massive video game and movie pirating ring. The numbers of the stuff they seize is pretty staggering. Early figures indicate that 290 DVD/CD burners, 28,800 illegal copies of video games and more than 900,000 video game cover inserts were recovered.
Video game piracy is apparently rampant in Mexico City and this was the end to several month long sting. Its great for the gaming community to see federal governments take notice in what could be a huge blow into profits and development. You can expect shitty games to come out when the people who bust their ass to make them can’t earn profit and pay the devs their money. Loot Ninja offers Taco Flavored Kisses to all those who helped brings these criminals down. Remember, its better to be a MexiCAN than a Mexican’t.

I didn’t know gaming was rampant in Mexico? I thought it was one of the lowest countries in terms of gaming
