You can plainly see here some obvious trends. Wii sales are most likely down to its unavailability and lackluster lineup. The Xbox 360 has show steady growth, while the PS3 has grown over two fold because it now has a competitive gaming library as well as successful price cuts. It would be fair to say the Blu-ray victory everyone saw coming over the past 4 months may have aided that.

Write a Comment»Wow, the PS2 actually went up? The only ones to go down are both handhelds.
So is MIcrosoft going to continue the “Shortage” even through GTAIV? It looks like they’ll be doing that I have no doubt about it. It’s going to get spun as well “With the Release of GTAIV we have released a high demand for the system and we are trying our best to get more out for these consumers that want GTAIV and many of our AAA titles that can only be found on the xbox360″.
The shortage only works for Nintendo. They made one 6 months in advance and is playing stupid. lawlz.
I don’t know why the Wii refuses to get third party games that don’t relate to anime.
why are the handheld sales down? oO
Shortage? >>
