Call of Duty 4 Beats Halo 3 Again

Major Nelson dropped off the list of the past week’s most played titles on Xbox Live, and for the second week in a row, Call of Duty 4 has upset Halo 3 as the most played title on the Xbox 360.

Have Halo fanboys lost touch? Is the game not all it’s cracked up to be? Or is Call of Duty 4 just THAT good?

Personally, I think it’s a combination. I don’t think Halo 3 is that great online. To me, it’s essentially Halo 2 with upgraded graphics. Call of Duty 4 is a huge step in multiplayer, and it really shows with how many people are online.

hell yeah, halo 2 was better than halo3, and call of duty 4 airstrikes ‘em both. I still play halo 3 sometimes, but only when my friends are playing it.

Halo 3 is still a great game, but outside of the ranking system, which has its pros and cons, there is no incentive to keep playing it. cod4 offers the perks and upgrades and that makes me want to be a 55. i am a 49 right now, ftw.

i always thought halo was over-rated, good game, but over-rated. Call of Duty 4 however, is to me the best game of ‘07. And prolly the best sine Half Life 2 and Counter Strike.
