As if the console fires needed to be stoked anymore, MS decided to lay their claim to the biggest cross console launch, maybe ever. The game will launch on both consoles obviuosly, and many gamers who own both systems will have to make a choice. MS says the choice is easy. Here is why:
We already own it, I believe, from a content standpoint, because we have the exclusive episodes,” he said. “And so Xbox 360 is still going to have the ultimate experience for GTA IV. “But we have to make sure the customers know that.” Especially, he adds, “if you look back, again, to the role of GTA III and what that played in terms of PS2’s development - in Europe as well, because it was huge in Europe. That’s a great opportunity for us. We need to take advantage of it.
What this guy is saying is true, but it doesn’t necessarily declare MS as the winner. Its going to be fun to see what console people choice. The exclusive content may be the turning point. What do you guys think?

Write a Comment»I think the exclusive episodes will make people buy it more for 360 than PS3. I’d like to play the game for both consoles first to see how well it controls. I always like the PS2 versions better than the Xbox versions last gen. I thought the controls felt better.
For me, the choice is clear: I will get the 360 version hands down, no question.
…mostly because I don’t have a PS3 just yet…
