Lost Planet PS3 Demo Goes Away

Lost Planet Map - Radar Field

And like that… *poof*… he was gone. Sony dropped word that the Lost Planet demo has been removed from the PlayStation Store temporarily. The reason? Yeah, those pesky issues where you can’t play the damn thing.

We will be working overtime to correct the issue and expect to upload a new version to the PlayStation Network as soon as possible that accurately reflects the incredible online features of the game. For those of you who have already downloaded the demo, the servers are being taken down until the new version is ready to go.

So it’s the servers, then, you say? If those of us who already downloaded the demo don’t need to download again, it would look like Capcom screwed up on the server end of things. Hopefully it all gets straightened out soon.

i just re-downloaded this on the 360, and there are a ton of people playing it… still, after 2 years. And you get 16 people in a game in no time.
