There was quite a bit of uproar when gamers found out once they started to play RockBand that the only online option for them would be pick up games with friends. The World Tour Option was no where to be found online, which this editor was a bit surprised by since that is the essence of RockBand really. You create a band make some money and get some fans, why make this only an offline thing?
Well rumors are flying fast and furious that perhaps in a few months there will be a patch to RockBand allowing for the full experience. Stay tuned and we will let you know if this is true and when you can expect it. What do you guys think, worth patching and putting in or are you having enough fun with RockBand as is to care less?

Write a Comment»sounds nifty, but how does one tour online? And if you are thinking about trying this, why not just make a realy band, and spend time with that.
I want to be able to tour online. My nephews, my wife and I want to get an online band together and we were rather disappointed at the lack of this feature.
I agree that this feature would be huge. For those of us without a lot of gaming friends around (or without that elusive 3rd guitar on PS3) would love this feature
