Rock Band Confirmed for Wii

EA casually let out that Rock Band will be coming to the Wii. I guess that Wii logo on the microphone was no joke.

In a conference call, CEO John Riccitiello just casually mentioned the “coming launch” of the Wii version of Rock Band. IGN received confirmation that a Wii version is indeed coming, but no release date has been set.

No word on downloadable content yet for the Wii either, but I imagine it will be a difficult task given the small memory size of the console.
