What is the Best Rhythm Based franchise?

MusicWell the rhythm genre has always existed, but it seems as if within the last few years they are close to reaching their pinacle. Rhythm games are no longer just a fad, but a genre much like RPG’s and shooters with an extremely strong player base. What is you favorite rhythm based franchise?

There have been some rhythm games that have been before their time and others that are just horrible, but they all provide some level of fun. I think these few franchises have really stepped up and deserve the top honors.

Who has the better trailer?

I would go with Rock Band, followed by Guitar Hero, and then Singstar.

WHAT?? No Bust A Move: Dance & Rhythm Action or Bust a Move 2: Dance Tengoku Mix??? That’s rubbish. BY FAR the best two rhythm games before the invention of the peripheral. If Parappa is up there, so should they.

Better than those listed? Not saying that. But they should be options……..THE JAPANESE versions that is (the translated/changed USA music blew).
