With all the hoopla about the downtime that Xbox LIVE has had over the last few weeks, lets look at the positive, the service just hit 10 million members. Ok now if only they could get it to work properly with all ten million people (this is both gold and silver members) playing they would be set. As my buddy Pandas pointed out though he counts as like 7 users since he has 6 silver accounts and a gold account, makes you wonder how many people have the same for multi player games? I wonder how many of the 10 million members are actually unique people or continuing users and not part of the free 1 month trial?
The Xbox LIVE community continues to grow, reaching the milestone of ten million Gold and Silver subscribers, a full six months ahead of schedule. Xbox LIVE connects millions of members across 26 countries to enjoy hundreds of multiplayer games, downloadable games via Xbox LIVE Arcade, free and premium playable game demos, music videos, TV shows and movies in the United States as well as extra game content like new levels, characters, and vehicles for all their favorite retail games.

LOL, so what is that 9,999,999 users that cannot get a decent connection on Live?
yeah, pretty much. I really do wonder how many people have more than one account that adds into this number
I had two at one point (I had forgotten the password on my Beta account for about 2 months).
