hey guys yourll complaining faggots…and my xbox live has never crashed b4.. y would u want to sue them just because they are having a bit of trouble with their software and servers …if u made a mistake u wouldnt want poeple getting all mad and fustrated about it and threatening to sue you.and cmon wen it does break down let it be a chance for you guys to go outside and get some sun, its good for you.take the chance to do something else. u bunch of winging nerds

Honestly, Microsoft better come up with something good to compensate for all the time live has been working like garbage. I’ve wasted so much of my time trying to deal with it the past month, and it’s not improving. Why are we paying $50 for a year of service when it works only one month of that year? If Xbox Live were free, I don’t think people would be fussing about it so much, but it’s the fact that we pay so much for something that gives so little in return.

The point is that most of us had a ton of time to play over winter break (for those of us in school), and most of us couldn’t play at all. I probably use maybe 2-8 hours of live a week. This means that I’m paying like… anywhere from $0.63 or $0.16 an hour for my service. On winter break I can play maybe 6 hours a day on a good day since all my friends are on vacation, which means that I have lost a good amount.

I go to school and I need to do well in school, which equals not playing a lot of 360 during the weekdays / sometimes weekends. So when I have a large break, I want my service to work.

One arcade game is actually not that bad a deal. If the game is $5, and a year’s service is about $60, it’s like getting a free month. (which I would actually prefer, assuming that free month the service actually works, zing)

I had so much time for winter break when all my friends were on vacation to play Xbox 360. Guess what? it was down… That is absolutely ridiculous. MOST POPULAR time of year to play becomes the time when we can’t play. I think that lawsuit is fair (even though we signed a TOS). They should have seen it coming after Halo 3 crashed the servers upon release.

I’m waiting until Live is 100% stable again before trying to play Halo 3 co-op, which is what I’ve been wanting to do since before Christmas. I’m sticking to PS3 and Wii, playing some Warhawk online, Rock Band on PS3, playing through Uncharted again, and playing Super Mario Galaxy

Absolutely f’n ridiculous…. there is no possible excuse for this kind of crap…. Tried to play some COD4 last night, and only got in one round before live crashed and we couldn’t get another game going… good thing that assassin’s creed is keeping me busy at the moment…

Well they’re offering a free XBLA game in compensation, which doesn’t seem to be enough for a lot of people to cover the service being down over such a big gaming time of the year

well the reason I say that is b/c if they don’t there’s doesn’t seem to be much to have a lawsuit over. when my 360 went in for repair they shipped it back with a month free gold to make sure that my days weren’t wasted. I’m wondering if they will do the same here

How can they not be counting them as Gold days? Silver members really have much less to complain about since they aren’t paying for anything. And the part of the service that’s been down with the most impact is online play, which is what you’re paying for with Gold
