Any avid Xbox 360 user will have noticed the problems with Live the past 2 weeks. Whatever the reason is, Live has been a major pain in the ass for a ton of gamers out there. Especially for those who have just gotten the system and this is their first taste of Live. MS is offering some payback however and its in the form of free shit. MS will be offering a FREE XBLA game for compensation. The name of this title? Anyone’s guess right now. Here is an excerpt from an official MS statement from Marc Whitten(GM of Live):
At the same time we would like to offer a token of our appreciation to all of you in celebration of record success for the service. And as a thank you for your loyalty during this holiday period, we will be offering all of our Xbox LIVE members around the world access to a full Xbox LIVE Arcade game that will be available to download free of charge. In the coming weeks we will be sharing the specific details of this offer with you.
There are plenty of awesome titles to choose from. Chances are we will all be getting something less than spectacular.
What are the odds that 90% of gamers already have the game they choose, or it’s a game that no one wants anyway?

I can narrow down the field a bit… take a look at my profile, and choose one of the arcade titles I already own. I guaran-damn-tee it will be one of those with the kind of luck I have….
