Rock Band gets a 8/10 from me, but that defective guitar irritates the holy hell out of me. I got it for 360 because I already had the GHII guitar, so a foursome is totally within the realm of possibility for me, especially when friends and family come over.

If you have 3 friends over a lot who want to play, get the 360 version and buy a cheap GHII controller. If you want wireless and all of those goodies go for the PS3 version.

I would buy the PS3 version for the wireless perhaps, but with 360 you do get a cheap extra guitar (if you buy a CHII controller).

yeah the only benefit of the 360 version right now is using the guitar hero 2 guitars to complete the 4 person band

PS3 version also has an advantage as you dont need a powered USB hub since you can run everything off the USB ports on the front of the system. Bad thing is that if you get the PS3 version you will only have three band members, 360 version can use the GH2 and 3 controllers. Graphically and gameplay wise they are exactly the same.

So I'm debating. I've got both an Xbox 360 and a PS3. I really like the idea of a wireless guitar, so I'm thinking I'll grab the PS3 version. Do you think there's any other advantages or disadvantages of the PS3 version?
