Wipeout for PS3 to Hit 60 FPS at 1080p

Yeah. Read that title again, according to PS3Fanboy, PlayFrance has revealed evidence that Wipeout, the insanely fast F-Zero type racing game will be in 1080p, the highest resolution available now. On top of that, it will run at the full 60 FPS. Okay, now you have my attention. The interview is here and written in French, so I can’t read it, but it does confirm that this is true. Could this be the apex of graphical achievement that the PS3 says it can handle. Let’s all hope so and eyes will be watching for the first video.

    I can also confirm that the game will run at this resolution and speed. So does Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
