Just a quick little quip here that might be funny for some – rage inducing for others.
Thirteen-year-old Brandon Burns joyously opened a Christmas present his parents believed to be a $500.00 Playstation 3 that they purchased at the Thousand Oaks EB Games near Camarillo, California. The teen stated that he laughed when the box revealed a phone book instead of the system. His parents were apparently miffed – well no shit.
Folks this just goes to show that if you shell out a substantial sum of money for any particular item check the friggin’ contents of the box yeah? Especially during the holiday season. Schmucks.

that really sucks man.. I feel sorry for them.
That’s why I open things I buy for family members before I wrap them.
I question if they really bought it at a legit store. You can buy tons of stuff in NYC on the street where this can happen. If its a store, well, then, I’m sure they will get a refund.
Anyone who buys Pirates of the Caribbean deserves this. That game was terrible. She should also return that and maybe get the kid a decent game.
They should have gotten him Uncharted… but hey, that’s what you get for buying shit at EB Games(same for GameCrazy, GameStop or any of those places)
