I love the history channel. I really do. I watch it probably everyday. They have some of the most accurate and entertaining programming on well, historical events. On the genre of video games however, they need to reevaluate what the hell they are doing. The latest debacle, Battle for the Pacific, pits you in a 2 hour, yeah, 2 hour run through of the Pacific Campaign. Lackluster graphics, gameplay, sound, AI, and lasting appeal make this another title that might not sell 1000 units. This is the second attempt after their Civil War title last year. Wow, a game with a musket. Yeah, that was disaster and so was this. I doubt anyone who can make any decisions will ever read this, but if they do, disband your gaming department and put on a R. Lee Ermey marathon immediately.
