I came across some serious cosplay while reading the latest Nintendo Power, for those of you who may not know cosplay is dressing up like a video game character. There is a girl named Jenni Kallberg that has taken Metroid cosplay and fanaticism to the next level. Not only does the costume look realistic, but she looks really cute in it as well. Jenni is a Swedish born gamer that really enjoys Metroid and started making cosplay costumes at age 14.
Not only does she do Metroid cosplay but on her site she also does Ghost in the Shell, Battle Royale and The 5th Element. Really great looking costumes and the site has a pretty cool name as well Pixelninja.

These costumes are amazing. Hard to believe that it all boils down to cardboard, PVC and foam. Jenni definitely has some serious creativity and we salute her tribute to Samus Aran.

Write a Comment»I’m confused. So cosplay is dressing up while you are reading Nintendo Power or just dressing up as gaming icons from the magazine?
I think it’s when they read too much of the magazine, get brain damage, and suddenly think they are in that particular game.
First time I looked at it I thought she was Bjork and she was gonna be Samus in a Metroid movie.
lol, I can picture Samus wearing a swan around her neck now.
