Crysis 3000 Barrel Play Time

Ever wanted to see what would happen if you arrange 3000 barrels into the shape a chair and let it implode? Well, wonder no longer. Some brave users have risked PC hardware to make these videos in the Sandbox in Crysis. Before anyone starts going nuts… these are taken as still shots frame by frame then put together to make a 30fps video in Virtuadub. There’s almost no way this will run in real time on most PC’s.

    this is truly one of the most awesome things in game physics. It’s so cool to see & seems pretty realistic.

    Yeah the physics here are just insanely realistic. Too bad getting that level of physics with those graphics will cost you at least $3000 in PC hardware

    Incredible. I may just have to pick this up for my laptop. I hope that it will run decently, because watching those trees fall over when the barrels hit them was pretty amazing. My config is like this for my laptop.
