Given the strong uphill battle that Sony as with the image of the PS3, it's making a big turnout. If you take a look at November 2006 NPD data, the PS3 is about on par with Xbox 360 sales throughout it's first year. People keep forgetting that when they quote total sales numbers for the consoles. I am amazed that the PS2 is still selling so well. I think Sony needs to cut ties with the system in a sense. There are still good games coming for the system, which is actually hurting PS3 sales. I think all PS2 developer should have ceased last year and all titles converted to PS3 titles I think the PS3 and PSP sold well for this month.
