
I know both UT3 and Gears are sharing the Unreal 3 engine, but couldn’t Epic have been a little more creative with the character modeling here? Take a look at the image above. On the left is Reaper of the Ronin team. He’s the main character you play in the Campaign. On the right is Dom Santiago, the secondary character from Gears of War. Notice the resemblance here?
I know character faces aren’t what you notice most in an Unreal game, but the graphics in UT3 are so terrific you do here. And having your cover boy look really close to a character from another AAA title in your stable isn’t the best option, in my opinion. Again, not the biggest of deals, just seems a bit lazy in my eyes.













Dom Santiago is a hot digital actor these days, with his role in Unreal Tourament. What movies -err- games will he be playing in next?
I just hope this DOM doesn’t just stand there like a DEUCHEBAG getting run over by that big ass wall breaking monster OVER AND OVER!
Dom was my character of choice in Gears of War
so what does a dego dog got to do with a ronin clan? make us some bad ass ninjas for fatty’s sake. im telling ya these designers and modelleers are getting stupider by the day. sure gfx are nice but story coherence just doesnt seem to matter anymore -_-
stop eating those donuts, grow fatter and start making some sense. i know it doesnt matter for the averageus sheephole but i demand some substance damn it!

i think he looks more like a cross between Fenix and Santiago, his features are similar to Santiago but his overall look is of Fenix
