If you still are playing GH2, the Indie Pack offers some new music via download. Here is a video review of said pack and whether its worth getting. I still think the set list in GH3 is a tad weak, but hey, its early. As of right now, it is Xbox 360 exclusive.

I wish i had GH II for 360 just so i could play the state of massachusetts by dropkick, but to be completely honest the rest of the songs don’t look half bad either.
Dropkicks are very cool, I just don’t like paying for updates for a game that is being replaced in a way.

I love Dropkick Murphys, but I’m not about to pay $6.25 for that one song. Any why release this for Guitar Hero 2 at this point?
