Robbie Bach, president of Xbox, decided he wanted to take a big steaming dump on the PlayStation Network in and interview with the LA Times.
It’s fair to say that Xbox Live is clearly head and shoulders above anything anyone else has tried to do. We don’t have competition

Sony has done some things online, but nothing that can be called a service. We have a big advantage and we’re going to keep pressing that advantage
Ok, I guess I see where he’s coming from. Sony’s PSN is a very young service that needs some tweaking. But maybe it’s time to come down on the high horse there, Microsoft? How about instead of ripping on the competition, you get working on making your console stop breaking. We’ve gone through over 16 Xbox 360’s here at Loot Ninja (I’m on my 8th, taz is on his 4th, scuba is on his 2nd, and schwing is on his 2nd)

Write a Comment»I’m on my second 360 here. The only thing is that you have to think about how unreliable the PS2 was. This is m$ second console and all

Even though PSN may not be as good as live, it doesn’t go down for days at a time every time a new game is released
Actually I’m on my third. Shit.
Robbie ?? Dude PSN is fucking free…. And i think it’s very good, but yes Live can be better, but who gives a fuck man !!!
Tweaking infers the functionality is almost there. I think PSN needs more than tweaks it needs all the functions that Live has minus the damn ads. Although raising PSN’s abilities to that of Live with the current crop of games is most likely impossible. These functions have to be built in to the game itself. If PSN can get to the point where they are close to what Live is then MS would either add more or drop is fee. Either way I win. But I’d rather win w/ the drop in annual fee. Although that does mean more smacktards online than ever.
As far as what Robbie said. I can think of library full of arrogant garbage Sony has said that greatly eclipses this little quip.
You make a good point, get the 360 reliability out of the toilet then start talking.
I’m on my first and with no problems…knock on wood. Itt’s even traveling with me to Florida in about an hour. Happy Thanksgiving Vacation every one…
Yea PSN is free which should make every one w/ a PS3 have it (even just for demos). I know a lot of people who have no set it up…. make the activation better (it really could be better). There needs to be better in game support. Xbox 360 has dashboard which you can accesses in game. I can get my friends list in game but thats it. Also i know that in resistance i have friends in resistance and then other friends in the XBM friends list. Why….. it would be nice if i could at least invite them to my other list. Finally the store is a joke and w/ sony out of the music selling businesses make a deal w/ someone to sell their music on the store (i dont like apple but apple is a really good choice and the PS3 is a open platform so PS3 itunes could work). Besides that if you open up the system more for simple Java apps like a gmail app that shows my mail (w/ the browser) would be sweet, and put you way ahead. SONY REMEMBER THAT THE PS3 IS A VERY MEDIA CENTRIC DEVICE. A LOT OF PEOPLE PROBABLY DON’T HAVE A COMPUTER IN THEIR ENTERTAINMENT CENTER YOU CAN EASILY BRIDGE THAT GAP. EASY AS A SOFTWARE UPDATE.
