Xbox Live Downtime Makes Xbox.com Annoying

Xbox Live Logo

Ever since the downtime for Xbox Live a couple days ago, Xbox.com has become increasingly annoying. It’s even slower than it was before (which is hard to accomplish). The other thing that really bugs me is having to put in my Windows Live password every single time I open a browser and load the page.

For the record, I’m not clearing or blocking cookies. I’ve tested this in Firefox, Opera, and Safari and am getting the same thing with all browsers. I haven’t tested IE, so anyone out there with Windows: please let me know how it goes there.

I thought these scheduled downtimes were improvements to the system? I was really expecting things to at least speed up.

I havnt had any issues with Xbox Live in Internet Explorer Vista (as of last night anyways), but I will say that since the downtime Call of Duty 4 Mutiplayer has been unplayable. Everytime we get a group in the lobby and the game gets ready to launch the lobby closes and boots everyone out. Happened to me consistantly last night for about 2 hours till I got pissed off enough and just shut down the ole xbox.

Yea dude, this is pretty pissing me off. This is the one thing that really fucking pushes me over the edge. Sony doesn’t charge for their service, and they have less downtimes. We pay to have more downtimes…

They should comp. us for the past 6 days it has been down.
