Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for the PS3 is a very fun game, this was my first experience with the series and I am very pleasantly surprised. This is a great pick up for any PS3 owner that enjoys a good platformer. Ratchet offers a good storyline with funny dialogue, very responsive controls and a ton of weapons and gadgets for you to choose from.
The six axis controls are incorporated very well into the game and come into play when you are grinding through stages or free falling through space traffic. The game offers you great action that is very fast paced with the ability to back track and collect all items in a level. The levels are fairly linear culminating in a final boss match, but the appeal of the game really is in all the gadgets and weapons for me. I like how you can upgrade all the weapons you receive to do more damage, have better range and have more ammo. Aside form upgrading your weapons using certain minerals you collect thru the stages you can also purchase additional weapons and level them up thru using them and killing enemies.
You can also level up Ratchet himself as you go trhu stages and you will get more health which is very useful during boss fights. Each weapon and gadget brings advantage sand disadvantages and give you a different feel in each level. My favorite weapon so far are the fusion grenades which although have little ammo cause a lot of damage and are fun to toss around.
I will keep playing through, so expect a full review real soon.

The game really doesnt depend ont he six axis, it uses classic controls for majority of the game, but when it does put them in they make sense and work well. No one developer has tried to embrace the six axis except for Lair, and that game unfortunately didnt do as well as planned.
