There are only so many salient news stories everyday in the gaming industry and many times sites will take a story off of another site. If that site gives credit, then thats fine. Sometimes, people will just flat out steal stories and that sucks, but is the nature of the beast. Games Radar has recently and very overtly accused IGN of stealing their idea for an original story idea. Hmm. The stories are similar, but they basically pointed a very big finger. Check out the link above and let us know what you think. We have stories of our own taken from under our noses, but I am waiting for a response from IGN.

Hmm. I wouldn’t really consider this plagiarism, since it happens all the time in life. I mean, Microsoft copied some ideas of mac, and mac copied some ideas from Linux. I think that IGN just needed some interesting things to put in their magazine, so they “copied” games radar. I haven’t actually read the list, but I’m hoping they are not exactly the same or that wouldn’t be cool.
