Bizarre, Bungie and Bioware: What Their Recent Actions Hold in Store for Gaming

N’Gai Croal, who is widely regarded as one of the best gaming journalists there is, recently penned, or should I say typed, and editorial looking at the huge moves made in the past week. In case you missed it, Bungie has gone solo.  EA purchased Bioware, and Activision bought Bizarre.  This is a lot to take in based solely on the fact that these small studios who had budget concerns and all the problems that go with being a small studio(except Bungie of course), are now under the control of almost unlimited resources.  This is a must read for all gamers who want to get a good luck at the future of the gaming industry from one of the best in the business. Check it out.

In my opinion, and I think N’Gai was expressing it as well, is this does not bode well for Microsoft in the coming months/years. Not having those first party games to support the console could backfire on them.
