To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment in this post stating your current favorite feature of the PS3 and what they’d like to see most out of the PS3 in the future. This is limited to things achievable with a firmware update only, not “more games” or anything hardware related.

I love ability to connect to the internet with no problem. My friends that have 360’s were very impressed with how easy it was to get online when I brought it over to play warhawk. They hated the fact they spent so much to have wireless play and my system came with it, talk about one nice feture thanks sony!
What I want to see more then anything is the in-game XMB but even more then that would have to be more online splitscreen games. I want me and my friends to be able to go online is racing or fps’s together on one system rather then us both having to have a system and game.
I like the PS3 the most because the games graphics are insane, and it also comes with the bluray player built in. When I turn it on, I dont feel like it is going to lock up as I do with my 360. The one thing I do have to say I love about my 360 is the fact that the dashboard is a lot cooler looking than ps3’s. I like the themes and the tabbed browsing that 360 has available.
I love the Ps3 I believe it is the best gaming console to date. All of the functions of the PS3 are amazing, from web browsing, to listening to music and watching bluray movies, and other videos. If there is one thing I’d like to see in an update, it would be an ingame XMB, obviously not having all the features of the regualar start screen XMB, but have like a friends list and be able to play music in game.
This next one sounds hard to do, but if you guys can turn the PSN store into an XMB, having movies in one catergorie, game demos in another and so forth, and really specify it however, but it would be really smooth to be able to scroll through like you can on the regualer XMB, and it would totally beat out the 360’s stuff.
Thanks for listening to my opinion.
One of the most important features for me is the internet broweser. I think it is a great addition to my console and I use it when someone is on the computer. One thing I would like to see improved is for them to add in a unified friend list for all your games like Xbox Live has. I don’t know if that is possible i with the way PSN is set up but I think it would be great if they could do it. I also don’t know if home will allow this so it would be great if they could release home pretty soon.
I love the graphics!
i love the blue ray feature along with the reasonably priced generic controllers and the fact you can use your old ps2 controllers. Next-gen needs to wow us and hopefully sony is just getting started and yeah madden needs to catch up to 360’s version. Ps3 is durable thats why i got it, unlike ,disc eating and red lights going off light a disco tech xbox no matter what they wanna call them core, elite, P.O.S.
LOL
C’mon djed, do you really have to flame the 360 in a contest to win some PS3 games, not necessary to completely flame the 360, just a comment or two about the RR would be fine.
I would enter this, but I do not have a PS3, so I will not enter and give you guys a better chance to win
– Love me
I have always loved backwards compatibility and the bluray movies are awesome
My favorite PS3 feature is definitely its ability to play Blu Ray movies, especially Stranger Than Fiction, which is an incredibly well-written film.
Features I would like to see implemented include:
Being able to send IM’s in-game, not having to save and quit a game to send a message.
Being able to charge a controller while the system is off would be an incredible feature to include in a future firmware update.
My current favorite feature is the blu-ray disc capacitys. I would love to see an in-game XMB
My favorite feature is just all the multi-media features available, I use it for HD movies, downloaded movies, music and photos. What I would like to see most is in-game XMB aswell.

I really like the crazy processing power of the PS3 which makes everything from amazing graphics to folding@home possible. What I would like to see is Playstation Home implemented soon!
The PS3 with be home to Final Fantasy XIII.
Man, its really funny how everyone is flocking here that I’ve never seen before to get 3 PS3 games. I may as well just tell my friend about this so he can enter too since he doesn’t have too many games right now.
Lol, what I meant is that Loot Ninja is getting a lot of traffic from people I’ve never seen here. 3 PS3 games is a big deal, I just didn’t think it would be this publicized. Hope loot-ninja gets more readers because they are the shit.
It’s funny how free anything gets you more traffic to your site.
Next month you should offer free gonorrhea.
Free stuff is a big deal, and most sites have contest to increase traffic to their site.
what features I love about the PS3 well, I love that u don’t have to pay for any memeber to play online, I like the whole giant psp look that it has, but my most favorite feature would be downloading PS1 games off the PSS. I would like to see more PS1 games in the near future.
Another thing I would like to see on the PS3 is a first-party adapter for the PS2 peripherals.
I guess ill sign up to this contest .I wont win anyway
Sony should put out their own Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse pack. But they should put the Sixaxis features in the mouse, kinda like the Gyromouse we use for presentations.

I think the PS3 has the best graphics
I love the PS3. I think the Blu-Ray definitely beats out the HD that Microsoft has.
Well another thing I like about the PS3 is the free online system they have in place. I would like it if the games didn’t have to install after you have download them.
My favorite feature of the PS3 is the BluRay player. HD movies are amazing!
I wish there was a global feature on the PS3 to set look inversion like the 360 has. It’s a pain to have to set this in every game.
I like blue ray!
Sony and the Dev’s need to find more ways to incorporate the Sixaxis controls into games. Heavenly Sword made excellent use of this with it’s ‘bullet-time’ feature for the cannons, thrown weapons and crossbow.
Some of the sports games (mainly games along the lines of Blitz and the like) could make great use of this by throwing you into a ‘bullet-time’ mode with the ball/puck. It would be like those times you see those one-in-a-million shots in hockey, or that miracle pass that found its receiver, or that seeing-eye hit that wins the ballgame in the bottom of the ninth, or even bending it like Beckam.
War games could make excellent use of it also.
PS3 owns at media streaming and video playback is sick. Cant wait for home.
Impressed that there are no red ring of death issues with the PS3 considering the slow nightmare which is 360’s warranty service.
I like that the PS3 has a standard hdd and another thing I would like to see added is the abiility to access the xmb while playing all games so that you can play your music on the the hdd while playing your favorite games.
Being able to see my laptop from the PS3 without having to do anything to either machine is awesome.
I almost forgot about remote-play, aka the feature that may get me to finally buy a PSP.
I like the darth vader black shinyness and spiderman font
I like having to clean this dust magnet every day…wait, no I don’t.
But I do like the long initial load, yeah, I know how crazy it sounds, but most of the PS3 games seem to load rather fast after that long initial load.
there is just too much to love about the PS3
I had to choose between the 360 and the PS3 (no choice really, $200 dollars more than the 360 was well worth it.) and I picked the PS3 because I love how Sony cares for their customers. I love the innovative side of the Ps3 (EOJ, Singstar, Little big Planet.) and thats one of the reasons I love it. I can’t wait for Home, I think that it is an amazing idea. I think a cool idea for the PS3 would be(completely unnecessary, but interesting) to be able to choose your own screen saver when you havent played for a while instead of the screen turning dark. That would be interesting.
Another thing I love about the PS3 is the web browser, it has actually helped me out in alot of tight spots. Sometimes, however I can’t get online after a new firmware update, that doesn’t happen after every firmware update, but sometimes. This means I can’t get online with any games, and I can’t play warhawk at all because I only play it online. Other than that I think Sony’s online is great, and best of all free. I wouldn’t pay extra money for internet service.
My favorite feature would definitely be the Playstation Network because there is just so much content (ie: games, demos, videos), and available all for free! Unlike stupid xbox pay-service. I would like to see better video and audio format compatibility.
The thing i want to see the most is XBM in game and music play in the backround, as well as friends and home support on xbm. I really want home but if you have to wait a min for it to load then you really can use it in game. Loving graphics and of course the media streaming from pc
My favorite feature of the PS3 is the Blu-Ray functionality! It’s great to have high definition capabilities right out of the box! I hope they keep updating the backwards compatibility, atleast once every couple of months, and I hope they upgrade the systems messaging ability (longer messages, voice chats, etc.)
-Ed
My favorite feature of the PS3 is its ability to play Final Fantasy XIII.
My favorite feature was done via update (dvd upscaling) I also enjoy the systems free online play, I would like to see more updates on the online communications although with Home coming around the corner that should be awesome.
Adding a comparably valued $200 DVD Upscaler via FREE update was just a stroke of genius! The only thing I am missing is (in case you haven’t heard…lol) in game XMB access including chat functionality. That addition makes the gaming portion of the console complete in my opinion. If you really want to impress us all, a sub $60 PVR add-on, it has to be unobtrusive of course.
I have been happy with mine since day 1, and continue to be impressed by Sony’s efforts. I spend my time gaming, watching Blu ray with uncompressed audio, listening to high quality music files (NOT MP3’s), streaming files from my computer, video chatting with friends and family, etc etc etc while the media tries to convince me that I bought the wrong machine. LMAO
Here is another thing I like about the PS3 the games of course. Sony knows how to deliver when it comes to the games. Heavenly Sword is one of the best games I have ever played. I would like to see if there was any way possible an estimated release date on games on the official playstation blog. Would like to know if certain games were coming out this year in USA like GT 5 Prologue for example.
Sony has always been known to have cutting edge systems with cutting dge graphics.
Sony should honestly let you copy the preview screens of games and use them as backgrounds. A few of them look incredible, and have great music, like Folklore and Heavenly Sword. (the Super Puzzle Fighter music is way too loud though)
They should do a firmware update that allows you to take screenshots in-game and use them for backgrounds. They could tie it into the PS button, since it brings up a list regardless of what game you’re playing.
I liek that screenshot idea, i have to admit one really cool thing about halo 3 is the movie and screenshot feature, although taking htem during a game would be hot, unfortunately you have to go out ot the theter to do it. If SOny could incorporate that into the PS button, I would be all over that.
The feature I really like on the PS3so far is PSN b/c it offers exclusive downloadables, it’s unique, and the design is catchy. I would like to see better security on newer firmwares, able to weed out cheater and hackers!
