How Guitar Hero III Guitars Work

The new guitars for Guitar Hero III have an important new feature: they come apart for easy storage. The necks of the guitars are removable. Pretty cool. The Wii guitar also has another feature: the Wiimote is embedded in the guitar.

Check out the video for how it works. I’m guessing the Xbox 360 and Wii won’t need that dongle like the PS3 does.

    Cheers for another post with the word “dongle” in it. But yeah, w00t if 360 and Wii versions dont have teh dongle.

    They don’t have the dongle, Microsoft decided to be smart and use the amazing ‘wireless’ system they’ve got going on. As far as taking the guitars apart, that helps A LOT! Sweet
